*  Unfortunately, many of the old gravestones have been missing for years,  There are areas believed to be unmarked graves.
**  Israel Clifford, Junior owned property in Protectworth (Springfield).  He served in  the Revolutionary War,
but is buried in  Corinth Vt. Tristan Clifford, son of Israel Clifford Senior, served in the Revolutionary War,
but is not listed above.  It is not known at this time where he was buried. 
Israel Clifford Senior did not serve in the Revolutionary War.
