Scholarships

Our Constitution includes the following statement on scholarships:
"Whenever feasible, the society shall preserve historic buildings and sites, disseminate historical information, gather and maintain cemetery records, mark historical buildings, sites and land trails and provide scholarships to deserving applicants who are residents of Springfield and attending institutes of higher learning."

The criteria for awarding scholarships is as follows:

1. Application must be received by April 30, 2012. Applications must be mailed to the Springfield Historical Society, Post Office Box 6, Springfield, NH 03284. Applications are not to be submitted to the high school.
2. Application forms may be obtained from the Guidance Office at KRHS or download application by clicking here.

3. The applicant must be a resident of Springfield.
4. Preference may be given to students whose parents are members of the Springfield Historical Society.
